I don’t find myself in malls often, so when Joy asked if I wanted to check out the sales this weekend, I happily ventured out.
As a frequent mall goer, Joy was the perfect person to go with! She knows the layout of the stores, how to shop section to section, and which fitting room is best to avoid long lines.
The biggest part of our trip was at Lord & Taylor, where the clearance section was booming!
Ten racks and two fitting room trips later, I scored three very different finds.
This Elie Tahari camel and black speckled crop top was an immediate “yes” as soon as I put it on. I have been looking for a crop top and these neutral tones make it perfect for all seasons.
I was surprised at how much I loved this blouse from Lord & Taylor’s own line. The center ruffle is subtle and flows beautifully. I also love the chartreuse and salmon hues.
Speaking of Lord & Taylor’s line, I snagged this antique white lined pencil skirt with a cream-colored lace overlay.
With clearance pieces and a store coupon, what should have been a $220 spree was only $66. Talk about shopping smart!
I hope everyone is having a fun (& fashion) filled Labor Day weekend ❤
