Primetime Polish Up: Episode 1-9 – Sophomore Seasons

The Primetime Polish Up is my weekly post showing off my nail polish color of the week and a review of what I binged watched.  I would love to hear your thoughts and recommendations!  Comment here or tweet to me @gingercouture1 or @JoyAttardo.

I have been seeing burgundy left and right this season, I love burgundy. Why haven’t I incorporated this color into my look?  I remedied my lack of burgundy this week with Orly Mind’s Eye.  This is a nice change of pace from all the dark shades I’ve been sporting lately.

I am so happy to spend my Sunday afternoons catching up on some of my favorite shows.  There were so many premiers last year that I was glad to see were renewed for a second season.  There is always the fear that the sophomore season of a show won’t deliver like the first season.  Phew!  This is not the case with a couple of my returning shows.

Blackish, has been even funnier than last year and I like the bigger picture issues that each episode tackles.  Also, Bow has rocked some really cute outfits.

How to Get Away with Murder picked up right where it left off.  The web of lies is growing but Shonda Rhimes isn’t skipping a beat and she reconnects with details from last season.  Of course Annalise’s suits are on fleek.
One of my favorite gingers, Debra Messing stars in the Mysteries of Laura.  This one also picked up where season one ended.  Last season, each episode, focused on a case and taps into the personal lives of the characters.  Fortunately this format carried over to season two and the love triangle is still going strong.
